Find a property owner in Jefferson County, Kentucky
Jefferson County takes in Louisville and the surrounding area. In Kentucky, deeds are recorded by the county clerk, and property is assessed by the county Property Valuation Administrator (PVA). Those offices give you the owner of record and mailing address one parcel at a time; for a whole list, an owner-data tool returns owners, phones (DNC flagged) and emails in one pass.
What's on a Jefferson County property record
- The recorded owner name (person or LLC)
- The mailing address (often different from the property location for absentee owners)
- Assessed value and tax history
- Property characteristics (lot size, year built where applicable, square footage)
- A link to the recorded deed in most counties
Working Jefferson County records
Official sources used for Louisville addresses:
- Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) — Owner of record and assessed value for Jefferson County parcels.
- Jefferson County Clerk – land records — Recorded deeds and mortgages.
Kentucky assesses property through an elected PVA in each county, not a county assessor.
Record searches give you a name and a mailing address, not a phone number. Plan a second step to get phones and emails, and screen them against Do Not Call before you dial.
