Send enriched leads straight to Follow Up Boss.
A lot of the agents we talk to are already on Follow Up Boss — and for good reason. FUB has built one of the strongest CRMs in real estate: pipeline stages, action plans, SmartLists, two-way texting, team collaboration. If you're a working producer running an active book of business, it's a fantastic home base.
LeadCove sits one step earlier in the workflow — the prospecting layer that turns a list of property addresses into ready-to-call contacts. When you connect the two, every newly enriched lead from LeadCove lands in your FUB account automatically, with owner name, phone, and email already populated. You stay in FUB for everything you already do there. We just save you the data-entry trip.
How they work together
Think of LeadCove as the layer that prepares contacts and Follow Up Boss as the home where you nurture them. Both tools are great at what they do — they just do different things, and they're better as a pair.
- LeadCove handles the prep. You drop in a list of property addresses. We surface the owner data — name, phone, email — score the leads, and dedupe across the same owner.
- Follow Up Boss handles the nurture. Once a contact is in FUB, you've got pipeline stages, action plans, SmartLists, and two-way conversation history all working for you.
- The integration carries the handoff. Every enriched lead lands in FUB automatically, tagged so your existing SmartLists can pick it up.
The setup (literally four steps)
One-time wiring. Five minutes start to finish, including the coffee break.
- In Follow Up Boss, go to Admin → API → Create API Key. Name it "LeadCove" and copy the key.
- In LeadCove, open Settings → Integrations → Follow Up Boss.
- Paste the key. Click Connect. We test the credential and confirm.
- That's it. Every lead you enrich from this point forward auto-pushes to FUB the moment owner data resolves.
No webhooks to configure, no Zapier, no developer time. The integration also deep-links the other way: LeadCove rows show a 📇 FUB button that opens the matching person record in your FUB account, so jumping between the two is one click in either direction.
Heads up: the FUB integration is included on Pro and Power plans. If you're on Starter, you can upgrade in Settings → Plan and the connection unlocks immediately — the API key you've already pasted keeps working, no re-paste required.
What this syncs — and what stays where it is
Important to set expectations clearly: the integration pushes new enrichments forward from the moment you connect. Existing data in either tool stays right where it is. Specifically:
- Leads already in your FUB account stay in FUB exactly as they are. We never modify, overwrite, or delete contacts you put there before — or after — connecting.
- Leads already enriched in LeadCove (before you connected) are not auto-pushed in bulk. They're still searchable + workable in your LeadCove dashboard. If you'd like a particular pre-existing lead in FUB, you can re-trigger an enrich on it (a sibling-propagation match is free) and it'll push.
- From the moment you connect onward, every newly enriched lead — single click or bulk action — auto-pushes to FUB the instant owner data resolves.
The reason for the "forward only" approach is to give you a clean, predictable break point. Your existing FUB workflow is sacred — we're not going to suddenly dump hundreds of new contacts into your account without an explicit action. New work goes through the integration; old work stays where it lives.
What gets pushed on each enrichment
- Owner first + last name — including the real person behind LLC / Trust / Corp ownership.
- Primary phone — mobile preferred, landline as fallback.
- Email address — best available match.
- Property address + custom fields — years held, equity signal, list price (when known), property type.
- Lead source = "LeadCove" — so your FUB SmartLists can carve out leads from this channel cleanly.
- DNC + TCPA flags as tags — the compliance signal travels with the contact so your action plans can branch.
- Joint-owner data — when a property has two named owners (spouses, business partners), both contacts go in linked to the same address.
What we don't push
- Rows we couldn't enrich. If a lead didn't return usable contact data, it doesn't end up as a "Property Owner @ 123 Main St" placeholder in your FUB account. We hold those back so your CRM stays clean.
- Excluded rows. PO boxes, generic mail-forwarding addresses, government-owned parcels — filtered out before they ever reach your dashboard, let alone FUB.
- Internal vendor IDs. Behind-the-scenes plumbing stays behind the scenes.
The day-in-the-life
Here's what the integrated workflow looks like end to end for an agent already happy in FUB:
7:30 AM · Morning intake
Pull today's list — expireds, withdrawals, FSBOs, building canvass, whatever. Drop the CSV into LeadCove. Hit enrich. Walk away.
7:45 AM · While you grab coffee
LeadCove enriches the list, scores each row A/B/C by equity and ownership length, and quietly pushes every match into your FUB account as a new person record. Each one tagged "LeadCove · YYYY-MM-DD" so your SmartLists can find them instantly.
8:00 AM · Action plans fire
The new FUB contacts trip whatever action plan you've already built — first text, first email, follow-up reminder. Your plans, your cadences, your tone. We just made sure there's something for them to fire on.
9:00 AM · Dial window
Open Follow Up Boss. Today's call list is already populated: fresh A-tier leads from this morning's intake, plus yesterday's no-answers cycling back, plus callbacks scheduled for today. You dial inside FUB the same way you always have.
11:00 AM · Pipeline review
A conversation that went well? Move the FUB stage to "Listing appointment scheduled." LeadCove picks up the deep-link tag and reflects those leads in your dashboard's Interested bucket too — so the prospecting view and the CRM view stay in sync.
Why we built it this way
Plenty of agents who try LeadCove already have years invested in Follow Up Boss. SmartLists they've built. Templates they've refined. Drip sequences they've tuned over hundreds of contacts. Asking anyone to walk away from that to migrate to a brand-new CRM would be a tough trade — and frankly, not necessary.
Instead, LeadCove is happy to slot in earlier in the workflow. You keep using the CRM you've already invested in; we make sure it's full of pre-enriched, deal-ready contacts each morning. If you don't have a CRM yet, LeadCove also runs as a full prospecting CRM out of the box — same product, different starting point. But for the FUB users reading this: please keep using FUB. We're a complement, not a replacement.
The bottom line
If you're already on Follow Up Boss, you're already in great hands. Adding LeadCove just means each morning you wake up to a CRM that already has today's enriched leads in it — owner names found, phones surfaced, emails ready, and your existing action plans firing on all of them.
