Getting started

Bring a list. Skip the setup.

4 min read · By Jules Cordero, Founder

Most prospecting "tools" make you build the prospecting tool before you can prospect. CRM picker. Pipeline configuration. Integration wizards. Field mapping. Team training. Sandbox mode. By the time you finish the setup checklist, the listing is gone and the seller went with someone else.

LeadCove has one input. A list.

One upload box. That's the whole onboarding.

There is no setup screen. There is no "first five things to do." There is no checklist, no welcome video, no required tour. You sign up, you see a clean dashboard, you drag in a CSV. Within about a minute, the list is processed — owners surfaced, phones verified, DNC and TCPA flags applied, joint owners split out, scoring assigned. Click the first row. Click the phone number. Make the call.

Working agents don't have time to learn a new tool. You have time to use a new tool. The bar LeadCove holds itself to: if you can't be on a real phone call within five minutes of signing up, the tool failed.

What "a list" can be

We get asked this a lot, so to be specific — any of these work, and we've seen all of them on real customer uploads:

The format is forgiving on purpose. We accept CSV. We dedupe duplicate rows. We figure out missing ZIPs from the address. We unmask LLCs and trusts so you see the real human behind the deed. You don't have to clean the list before you upload it. That's our job.

What appears the moment the list lands

The list comes in raw and lands in your dashboard already prioritized. Each property shows up as a row in Mission Control with:

Same owner on multiple properties? You see them once, charged once. Their contact data populates across every property they own. Same owner = one charge, every time.

Why simplicity is the moat

The tools that "do more" lose to the tool you actually use. Software adoption studies have said the same thing for thirty years: onboarding friction is the single biggest reason prospecting tech gets abandoned inside the first 30 days.

If your prospecting platform requires a 45-minute setup call before you can see the product, you've already lost the seller. If it makes you "choose your CRM stages" before your first dial, you've lost the seller. If it wants you to invite your team and configure roles and connect three other systems before you can upload addresses, you've lost the seller.

LeadCove inverts the order. Dial first. Configure later. Or configure never, if that's what works for you. Mission Control comes pre-tuned with the filters and stages that working agents actually use. The CRM is built in. Scoring is automatic. Compliance flags are applied before you can click Call. You can run an entire prospecting month without ever opening the Settings page.

Already have a CRM? Already have a process?

Connect Follow Up Boss in one toggle in Settings (available on the Pro and Power tiers). Every enriched prospect pushes automatically with contact data and tags. No field mapping. No webhook setup. No two-way sync to debug.

Don't have a CRM? Use LeadCove as your CRM. Mission Control plus per-lead notes plus call, text, email, and LinkedIn logging plus full outreach history is enough for most working agents. Plenty of customers never connect anything external.

Don't want to think about this question right now? Skip it. Upload the list. Make calls. Decide later. You can connect a CRM at any point — nothing about your existing prospecting data has to move.

The 5-minute path from sign-up to first dial

  1. Sign up. Email and password at app.leadcove.io. No credit card on the signup form itself. ~30 seconds
  2. Pick a plan. Starter, Pro, or Power. Secure checkout, real card, done. You're back in the dashboard in under two minutes with credits on your account. ~90 seconds
  3. Drag your CSV into the upload box. One target, hard to miss. Sits front and center on Mission Control on a fresh account. ~5 seconds
  4. Wait while we process. Usually 30 to 60 seconds for a list of 100 properties. Owner lookups, phone verification, DNC scrub, LLC unmask, scoring — all running in parallel. ~60 seconds
  5. Click the first row. Click the phone number. Talk to the prospect. That is the entire workflow. You can do it twenty times in an hour, and most working agents do. go

The actual measured time on real testers signing up cold, with no preview and no walkthrough: under five minutes from "I clicked the sign-up button" to "I am on a phone call with a prospect." If your current prospecting stack takes longer than that just to log in, you're spending more time configuring than calling.

Why this matters more than the feature list

Real estate is one of the few professions where the best thing you can do in any given hour is also the hardest thing to start. Every working agent knows the math. Dials drive conversations. Conversations drive appointments. Appointments drive listings. Listings drive closings. The number that matters in a working week is dials, and the friction that kills dials is usually not the call itself — it's the hour you lost before the call hunting down a number, cleaning a spreadsheet, or wiring up yet another tool.

LeadCove exists to remove that hour. Bring a list. Skip the setup. Make the calls.

That is the whole pitch, and it has been the whole pitch since the first time I sat down to build the tool I wished I had on my own prospecting days.
