Trial & pricing
How the LeadCove 7-day trial works — exactly what you get.
I get asked this a lot. So instead of rephrasing it in twenty different DMs, here's the whole trial mechanic, in one place, no marketing fluff.
★ The trial, summarized
What happens when you click "Start 7-day trial"
You land on a sign-up page — name, email, password. Takes about 30 seconds. We never ask for company info, brokerage, or a sales call.
Next screen is secure checkout. You enter a card. The card is captured, not charged — your statement will show a $0 authorization (the same kind a hotel runs at check-in), nothing more. A PCI-compliant payment processor handles the entire transaction; we never see or store card numbers ourselves.
One click later you're inside the dashboard with 10 credits on your account and the full platform unlocked.
What "the full platform" means
Trial users get the same product paying customers get. There is no "trial version" of LeadCove that's intentionally crippled. Specifically:
- Mission Control — the prospecting CRM. Sort by score, filter by status, log every touch.
- CSV upload — drop any list of property addresses. MLS expireds, FSBOs, withdrawals, your own farm spreadsheet. Same parser the paying customers use.
- Enrichment — each credit unlocks one owner's verified phones, emails, DNC/TCPA flags, joint-owner data, LLC unmask.
- Multi-channel outreach — call, text, email, or LinkedIn directly from each prospect card. One click each.
- Per-prospect notes + history — log calls, log texts, write notes, track follow-ups.
The only thing trial users don't get: Follow Up Boss sync (that's a Pro/Power tier feature, not trial-gated specifically). If you need FUB sync to test, upgrade from inside the dashboard at any time — Pro is $49/mo, Power is $99/mo, no waiting for day 7.
Why 10 credits (and what to use them on)
Ten enrichments is enough to prove the workflow on a real list. Here's how I'd spend them if I were trialing:
- Upload a list of 50-100 addresses you actually want to prospect — your farm, recent expireds, a building canvass.
- Sort or filter to the 10 highest-priority rows.
- Hit Enrich on those 10. Watch the owner contacts populate.
- Make 10 real calls or send 10 real texts. See if you book a single appointment.
One appointment from 10 prospects pays for the entire $29 monthly Starter plan many times over. The trial isn't about whether you "get value" in 7 days — it's about whether the workflow fits your day. If it does, the math is obvious.
What happens on day 7
Your card gets charged $29 automatically. The Starter monthly allowance unlocks (15 credits, refreshed each billing cycle). Nothing breaks. Your data stays. You keep working.
We send you a reminder email 3 days before day 7 — exact date and amount of the upcoming charge, plus a direct link to cancel if you're not feeling it. No surprises. If you have a calendar reminder app you trust, the email subject is "Your LeadCove trial ends [day]" and it lands in your inbox at the same time each cycle.
How to cancel before day 7 (if you decide it's not for you)
It's one click. No retention call. No "are you sure?" pop-up that fires three times. No "we'll keep your account warm for 90 days" guilt trip.
- Open Settings (bottom-left of your dashboard sidebar).
- Click Subscription.
- Click Cancel.
That's the whole flow. You keep dashboard access through the end of your trial window, then it closes cleanly. No charge. We don't email you trying to win you back next month — we figure if it wasn't for you, sending more emails won't change that.
What if 10 credits aren't enough for what you want to test?
Buy a credit pack from Settings → Buy credits. Packs stack on top of trial credits and never expire. Four packs available:
- Trial pack — $10 / 20 credits
- Starter pack — $20 / 50 credits
- Pro pack — $50 / 175 credits
- Volume pack — $100 / 500 credits (best per-credit value at 20¢ each)
Pack credits persist even if you cancel the trial. So if you buy a Trial pack on day 3, use 8 credits, then cancel on day 6 — the remaining 12 pack credits sit in your account, waiting, if you ever come back.
Why we ask for a card up front
Two honest reasons.
First, filters tire-kickers. Agents who actually want to evaluate the product enter a card without thinking — it's 60 seconds. People who were never going to convert don't bother. That keeps our paying customers from subsidizing time-wasters with their subscriptions.
Second, makes day 7 frictionless. If you love the workflow and want to keep going, the Starter plan kicks in automatically. You don't have to interrupt a Tuesday-morning prospecting session to dig out a card.
The card-required model isn't a trap — it's a forcing function for honest evaluation. People who try harder during the trial because they know real money is on the line tend to be the ones who get real value out of the tool.
Common questions I get
Can I extend the trial past 7 days? Standard offer is 7 days. Brokerage teams or agents new to prospecting tech sometimes need more time to evaluate — email [email protected] and we handle case-by-case.
Can I start a second trial later if I cancel? One trial per account. If you cancel and want to come back, you'd re-subscribe at standard pricing (no trial). The account itself stays — your prior lists and notes are still there when you re-activate.
What if my credit pack runs out and my trial credits are also gone? The Enrich button is disabled until you top up. Importing additional prospects still works (no credits used for import) so you can keep building your dashboard. Buy another pack or wait for day 7's Starter allowance to kick in.
Can I trial Pro or Power instead? No — those tiers don't offer a trial. They're for agents who already know they need higher monthly credit volumes. If you want to try Pro or Power, the cleanest path is: start the Starter trial, then upgrade from inside Settings any time before day 7. The upgrade replaces the trial; you're charged the new tier's amount that day.
Will I be charged anything during the 7 days? No. The card is captured at signup ($0 charge, just an authorization) and then nothing until day 7. If you buy a credit pack during the trial, that's a separate charge for the pack only.
The bottom line
You sign up. You enter a card. You don't pay anything for 7 days. You get the full platform with 10 credits to run real prospecting against. On day 7 the Starter plan kicks in unless you cancel. Cancellation is one click.
If you've ever held off trying a new prospecting tool because the setup was a headache or the pricing was opaque — this is the answer. Trial it. Cancel if it's not for you. Keep it if it is.
